You need some good audios.

Anyway, about the album it self: it was excellent, but it was no Demon Days. Demon Days blew me away on my first listen. Each song stood out while still keeping with the general dark mood of the album as a whole. It was memorable but the uniqueness of every song made it something you could never tire of listening to. The flow of one song into another was beautifully seamless and the album was neither too short or too long with the strongest ending I have ever heard. The strings leading into Demon Days were what lead me into listening to the Gorillaz in the first place. I knew deep down that nothing would ever be able to top it, I think we all did. Don't get me wrong, Plastic Beach is a fantastic album in its own respect, a point with which Lief would not agree. Then again he doesn't like it when any band tries anything different. He hated the Flaming Lips' Embryonic. I am still happy I spent $17 to own it. However at points I wish it was less rap and more flowing rhythm and melody. I feel like it really picks up towards the end, where most of my favorite songs reside including "Empire Ants", "On Melancholy Hill", "Broken", and "To Binge".

Also, discuss.

I absolutely love the absolutely love this album, it is no demon days, demon days is my favorite album of all time, OF ALL TIME.  but srsly i still liked it.  I don't mind rap when it is done properly and the Gorillaz are able to include rap on their albums and have it still sound good and not make me want to vomit.
my favorite songs are, rhinestone eyes, stylo, and superfast jellyfish.
i tend to stop paying attention towards the end because of my ADD so i need to re listen to the last bunch of songs.  i just bought the extended album with the DVD. also apparently it had a few extra songs i didn't have yet.  we shall watch the dvd when i get home, also bananaz (the making of the gorillaz and their first two albums) in all, i love the album and it inspired me to listen to demon days all the time again.
also i got new big ass headphones that actually have bass and make it sound way better

There is plenty of other good music in the world. Also, actually listen to the new album. There are definitely songs that you'd like.
